Missenden abbey is a venerable institution, which traces its roots back to 1133, when it was founded as a working monastery. Despite a catastrophic fire in 1985, the Abbey retains many original features, which have been sympathetically integrated into the modern fabric of this vibrant centre of learning.

Missenden Abbey is surrounded by 9 acres of peaceful and elegant parkland and gardens and set in the pretty Chiltern village of Great Missenden.
