to 'have a go'. Whether you are a beginner, or an experienced watercolour painter, Kim will encourage you
to make an individual response to watercolour painting though lively demonstrations of her direct & colourful style as well as plenty of one-to-one guidance & support. She
is an experienced tutor working in adult education, as
well as teaching privately. Kim is an inspiring, friendly
and patient tutor.

Kim is a professional watercolorist, whose innovative approach to watercolour painting, has inspired many an aspiring artist to achieve more than they had dreamt possible

The courses aim to enable you to gain confidence, as well as experience, in a variety of watercolour techniques and their application. Kim will also give practical tips as well as techniques and demonstrations in solving problems.

Some of the courses will take place in the studio and
some will be both in the studio and outdoors; taking full advantage of the scenery and grounds that are available.
These courses have a full wet weather programme should the weather let us down.

All the painting holidays are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists.

Kim's own painting of animals, flowers, still life, etc. combines a bold approach to watercolours (which are often quite large), with strong vibrant colour and a sharp attention to detail. Kim has had articles published in the Artist & Illustrators Magazine and is asked every year to run her popular workshops at the Artist & Illustrators show in London.

For any of Kim's courses, students are very welcome to bring their own subjects to work from if they wish
